Financial AssistanceSleeper chairs donated to Passavant Hospital

Our financial assistance comes in the form of cash and non-cash donations to cancer patients and their family, and equipment to hospitals and hospices.


Non-Cash Donations

The Foundation accepts donations of:

  • Gift Cards (pre-paid credit cards for gas, gift cards to Grocery Stores, Target and Walmart and gift cards to major drugstore chains)

If you would like to donate medical furniture or equipment, please contact the Foundation at (315) 339-5993. IRS Publication 526 outlines what types of donations can be deducted and how to claim a deduction.


Cash Donations

We provide financial assistance with expenses not covered by insurance, such as:

  • utility and phone bills

  • transportation costs/hotel costs

  • groceries

  • medically necessary equipment and supplies - The Foundation does not provide assistance for non-traditional treatment supplements like herbs, etc.

  • Assistance will be paid directly to the utility company or vendors to ensure proper use of funds.

Charity Bib

The Joseph Michael Chubbuck Foundation is accepting donations for the 2018 Charity Bib program. Donations can be made online or by mail from March 27, 2018 til June 30, 2018. Online donations can be made here.
